Refund Policy

Every Ari Baby blanket is made to be loved, washed, and dragged everywhere your little one goes. Before it reaches you, it passes through careful hands, but on the rare occasion something isn't right, here is how we look after you.
Refunds are available for faulty items only, and we ask that you get in touch within 14 days of your order arriving. We are unable to accept claims outside this window, and we do not offer refunds, exchanges, or credit if you simply change your mind, so take your time choosing. Unsure about a colour, print, or size? Email us at info@aribaby.com.au before ordering and we will point you in the right direction.
If Something Isn't Right
Give your order a good once-over when it lands on your doorstep. If you spot a genuine fault, or we have sent you the wrong item, let us know as soon as possible and we will sort it out.
By a fault, we mean something that went wrong in the making of your blanket and stops it doing its job: a hole in the fabric, a seam coming apart, or stitching that has failed. Muslin is a natural, loosely woven fibre, so a stray thread here, a subtle weave variation there, is part of its character rather than a defect. The same goes for gradual changes from everyday use and washing.
About Our Prints
Because each blanket is cut from a larger run of printed fabric, no two pieces land the pattern in exactly the same spot. Yours may sit a little differently to the one photographed on our website. That is what makes it one of a kind, and it isn't something we can accept a refund claim for.
Making a Claim
- Within 14 days of delivery, send your order number, a short note about the problem, and a few clear photos to info@aribaby.com.au.
- We will come back to you within 3 business days.
- If we need the blanket back, we will email you a prepaid shipping label. Sending a confirmed faulty item back to us never costs you a cent.
Please keep the item unwashed and in its original condition until your claim is resolved. Once a blanket has been washed or used, we can only accept it back if the fault was clearly there when it arrived.
Getting Your Refund
As soon as your return reaches us and passes inspection, we will confirm the outcome by email. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 10 business days, though banks sometimes add a few days on their end. Still nothing after 15 business days? Drop us a line at info@aribaby.com.au and we will chase it up.
What We Can't Refund
- Ordering the wrong colour, print, or size, or deciding the item is no longer wanted.
- The natural life of muslin: gradual softening, gentle fading, and slight shrinkage after the first wash.
- Damage from washing or drying against the care instructions on your label.
- Accidents, misuse, or any alterations made after delivery.
Terms & Conditions
1. Welcome
This website is owned and operated by Ari Baby (ABN 48 857 057 077) ("Ari Baby", "we", "us", "our"). By browsing this site or placing an order, you accept these Terms & Conditions, so please take a moment to read them. Purchases can only be made by people aged 18 or over. We may update these terms from time to time, and the version published at the time you place your order is the one that applies to it.
2. Our Products
Our blankets are woven from natural muslin fibres, which means each piece carries small differences in weave and texture. These are signs of a natural fabric, not defects. Expect your blanket to soften with every wash and to shrink slightly (around 5–8%) after its first one. We do our best to photograph our products true to life, but screens display colour differently, so slight variation between what you see online and what arrives is possible. All listed measurements are approximate.
3. Pricing
All prices are in Australian Dollars and include GST. Shipping is calculated separately at checkout. Prices may change at any time without notice, and if an item you purchased is later reduced or included in a promotion, we are unable to refund the difference.
4. Placing an Order
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase, and a contract is only formed once we accept it. In rare cases we may need to decline or cancel an order, for example where an item is out of stock or a pricing or listing error has occurred. If that happens, we will let you know promptly and refund any amount you have paid in full. Please double-check your order and delivery details before checking out. If you need to change or cancel an order, email us as soon as possible; we will always try to help, but once an order has been dispatched we can no longer make changes.
5. Discount Codes and Promotions
From time to time we offer discount codes and promotions. Unless stated otherwise at the time of the offer: codes apply to full-priced items only, are limited to one use per customer, cannot be combined with any other code or offer, and cannot be applied to an order after it has been placed. Specific promotions may carry their own additional terms, which we will publish alongside the offer. Promotional stock is available while it lasts.
6. Sale Items
Items purchased from a sale or clearance collection are final sale and cannot be refunded or exchanged, unless the item is faulty, in which case our Refund Policy above and the Australian Consumer Law apply as usual.
7. Shipping and Delivery
We ship within Australia only. Delivery timeframes shown at checkout are estimates and can be affected by carriers and circumstances beyond our control. If your order has not been dispatched within a week of purchase, we will email you with an update. Once your parcel is on its way, tracking information comes from the carrier and ownership and risk in the products pass to you on delivery. Please make sure your shipping address is correct at checkout, as we cannot take responsibility for parcels delivered to an incorrectly supplied address.
8. Returns and Refunds
Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy above, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
9. Product Safety and Use
Our products are designed to be used under adult supervision. Always follow safe sleep guidelines, including those published by Red Nose Australia. Blankets and wraps should never be placed loosely in a cot with a sleeping infant. Please read and follow all care and safety instructions provided with your product.
10. Reviews and Photos You Share
We love seeing Ari Baby blankets out in the world. If you tag us, mention us, or submit a review, photo, or video, you give us permission to share and adapt that content on our website, social media, and marketing, worldwide and without payment, with credit where practical. By sharing content with us, you confirm you have the right to do so, including permission from the parent or guardian of any child who appears in it. If you would ever like something taken down, email us and we will remove it.
11. Intellectual Property
Everything on this website, including our name, logo, product designs, prints, photography, and written content, belongs to or is licensed to Ari Baby. You are welcome to browse and share for personal use, but our content may not be copied, reproduced, or used commercially without our written consent.
12. Privacy and Communications
We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). We never sell your details to third parties. If you make a purchase or join our mailing list, we may send you order updates and marketing emails; you can unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the link in any email.
13. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or guarantee you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Subject to those rights, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or our products, and our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, or the replacement or resupply of the goods.
14. Events Beyond Our Control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, carrier disruptions, or supplier failures. If such an event significantly delays your order, we will contact you, and either of us may cancel the affected order for a full refund.
15. General
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that part will be severed and the rest will continue to apply. These terms, together with our Refund Policy and Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and Ari Baby in relation to your use of this website.
16. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
